+ What are Bee Chrys Designs key services?

+ Why should I choose Bee Chrys Design?
Well that's a great question! With 15+ years of experience in design, I've been very fortunate enough in that time to have worked across a variety of industries, designing a range of succesful products, brands and websites across design agencies and startups. This allows me to offer a multifaceted service.
+ What are your design prices and process?
Each project runs differently depending on the business goals and needs, but you can learn more about each of my services by visiting their pages (branding and logo design, custom squarespace website design, UX/UI design for product design. If you've sussed it all out already on social media and via our website and you're ready to take that leap, start by heading to our start a project and fill this out.
+ What are your payment options?
To secure your spot within my calendar, a 50% deposit is required with a 50% on completion. I typically book out at least a month in advance. If you're in need of a payment plan, that is perfectly fine also - we can set this up of 4 payments over 8 weeks.
+ Do you offer refunds?
No refunds are offered at Bee Chrys Design. Deposits are also non refundable. Your deposit is used to secure your spot in my calendar. This allows us to give the proper time and energy for each business.
+ Do you work with businesses globally?
Of course! I have worked with many businesses all around the world.
Branding
+ Can you design just a logo for my business?
Every founder has a different starting point in their business and a different main focus when launching their business. This could be a well established brand to begin with or their focus is on an MVP (minimal viable product). For this reason, I do accept designing just a logo, however, I do recommend looking at the brand in whole a succesfull brand has many elements to it that brings it all together that creates a cohesive and recognisable identity.
+ Is it ok to change my logo?
Of course it is! If you see that your logo is starting to look outdated and is not up to date with your business, then I would recommend geting a logo revamp.
+ Why is branding important?
A good brand tells a story. It reflects your values and increases the value of your business. If you have consistent branding on a product, it makes it easy to recognise, it can also help people feel more ease for purchasing from your product or service. This is why brand identity is important for your business.
+ What logo files do I receive after working with you?
All logo files will be sent in formats for both web (RGB) and print (CMYK). Each logo file will be sent in full colour, black, reversed and in formats of a .jpg, .png, and .eps file. You will be well equipped to use your new branding to it's fullest potential across everything from digital to print.
Website design
+ What website platform do you use?
Squarespace is the platform of choice to build your website on for many reasons. I've found this platform to be the simplest for clients to manage on their own. This means you can jump in and make edits later down the track without needing to hire a designer or developer to do minor changes. Of course I will always be around to provide you with that support if needed. The Squarespace platform is also robust enough to support my clients growing businesses into the future.
+ What if I have a website on another platform, can you help me switch over to Squarespace?
That's not a problem at all! If you have a website designed using another platform, I can help transfer everything over into the Squarespace platform. From there, we can work together to build a new user-friendly website for your business.
+ Why should my business have a website?
This could be a topic that we talk about for hours but to cut it short, a website reflects credibility. Having a professional online destination to direct your clients to, shows that you mean business and adds credibility. Your website is your online home for all your important information. Lastly, but not the least - it also saves you precious time. No more replying to FAQs in the comments, sending links to your portfolio or even sharing product descriptions. Everything can be found in one place. A one of a kind stand out website.
+ How do I prepare for a website project?
Prepare your content! I can't stress enough how important it is to have the content ready as you are the domain expert. When you lock in a website project, I provide you with a website preparation document that will help guide you through what you need to gather... oh and also imagery. Your website will look smashing if you have great photography! So go and get that photoshoot happening, trust me - it's worth it!
+ Do you offer ongoing website management?
Yes, tech support on an ongoing basis through a retainer option is available.
Digital product design (ux/ui)
+ What is a digital product designer?
A product designer has many names but truth is, a product designer at it's core, is a problem solver. This means, I use different facet and tools of design to create and execute a solution that helps solves a users problem. There are many processes during product design from user research, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
+ Why is UX important for my business?
As a business relies heavily on their customers and clients, it is important that they are able to use your product with ease to ensure that they continue supporting your business. UX improves the experience with the product, it increases customer aquisition and loyalty.
+ How should I best approach UX design?
UX is part of uncovering a problem though research and testing a hypothesis to uncover a solution. It's not a quick fix, and it's one of the vital processes that I recommend. With great design, comes value through your users experience - it fulfils their needs.
+ Do you offer ongoing ux/ui digital product design management?
Absolutely, a product is never finished. For a successful product, you want to ensure that you continuously learn from your users and iterate with solutions to fill their belly's... I mean needs.

+ What is a designer for a day?
My designer day is exactly what it sounds like: a full day of my schedule dedicated to your business needs. It offers the flexibility to tackle your project over 5 hours in just one day.
+ Can I book more than 1 day?
Of course! Needing 1 day, a couple of days or a week? If this is something that you require, get in touch as the day rates typically book out at least 1-2 months in advance. Once these are booked in, you will receive a calendar invite for your days.
+ How do I book my day?
